Fax Machines
The main decision when choosing a fax machine is whether to opt for a plain paper or thermal paper unit: whilst a plain paper machine can be used with recycled paper
(unlike thermal paper), it will require toner cartridges which have a significant environmental impact. Ricoh and Amstrad top the environmental table, with NEC and Canon firmly at the bottom:
